RULES/ FORMAT

  • Lax for the Cure Fall is a showcase event
  • All Teams will play 3 games – No Playoffs!
  • Teams will play in flighted pools based on competition level chosen by coach/club director
  • Game Length: 2 – 20 minute halves – 2 Minute halftime, 3 minutes between games

  • Lax for the Cure will follow all USA Lacrosse & NFHS Rules pertaining to each age level – click below for tournament specific rules modifications

  3. Scroll to find your players team and click “Join”
  4. Select Adult or Youth Participation Type, adjust your personal fundraising goal, and mark if you would like to make an additional gift with your registration (not required)
  5. Click Next Step
    1. If you are new and have never made a lax-raiser click “Join as a New Participant”
      1. Enter your information as listed in the form
      2. Create a user name and password
      3. Click Next Step
      4. Agree to the terms and click Next Step
      5. Review the information and click complete
  6. If you have made a lax-raiser before, you may already have an account. If you remember your login information enter it here or select “email me my login information”

LAX For A Cure was started in 2007 by Jessica & Charlie Shoulberg when three of the mothers of STEPS Lacrosse, LLC club were diagnosed with breast cancer. Over the past 16 years, this event has raised over $5.5 Million for breast cancer research and to support those battling breast cancer in the community.

1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime in the U.S. That could be your mom, your aunt, your grandma, your friend. The more money we raise at the LAX for the Cure, the more of an impact we’ll make to support loved ones affected by breast cancer. When you take action and fundraise, know that your dollars go on to fight breast cancer on all fronts.

STAY TO PLAY POLICY 

This is a STAY TO PLAY tournament. Event Connect by RoomRoster has partnered with Lax for the Cure to bring hotel accommodations to travel teams for this event. Teams are able to book any hotel of their choice through the Team Profile. Once the hotel is contracted and ready for booking, a link will be sent to the Team Manager to forward to all team members in order for them to reserve their room from the Block created by the Team Manager. Lax for the Cure is a stay-to-play event and all clubs should book accommodations through Event Connect by Room Roster.
